About this Position
Rising Tide is seeking a Finance and Business Consultant who can help small to mid-sized organizations establish strong, flexible financial foundations. You will specialize in designing GL code structures, financial workflows, and reporting systems that empower operational clarity and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities:
- Consult on financial workflows including budgeting, invoicing, reporting, and forecasting.
- Work alongside clients' finance and operations teams to implement sustainable financial processes.
- Offer strategic advice on aligning financial structures with business goals.
- Document financial frameworks and train internal teams for ongoing management.
- Analyze and design General Ledger (GL) code structures that align with business operations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in finance consulting, accounting, or financial operations.
- Strong understanding of financial systems design and general accounting principles.
- Experience working with small to mid-sized businesses (bonus for experience with nonprofits or service-based industries).
- Clear, approachable communication style with a focus on empowerment, not dependency.
